Chloe's Lunar New Year Capsule Collection Is Full Of Possibilities
Chloe takes a page out of former creative director Karl Lagerfeld's sketchbook for their Lunar New Year capsule collection.
In commemoration of the Year of the Snake, Chloe turns to legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld's serpentine design, who actually had two stints heading up Chloe from 1963 to 1983 and 1992 to 1997. His time as Chloe's creative director was his first venture into ready-to-wear, and Lagerfeld-era Chloe print dresses from the 60s and 70s continue to be highly sought-after vintage pieces.
Chloe's capsule collection features the snake motif, inspired by Lagerfeld's design of a snake embroidered dress from Summer 1969. And would this be a Lunar New Year capsule collection without the colour red? For the new year, Chloe's Bracelet Hobo and Camera bags come in a bright new hue and refresh classic silhouettes in black and red.
