She’s a fashion week regular, a Cannes darling, and now, Araya Hargate is officially a Miu Miu girl.
The Thai actress and long-time fashion icon, popularly known as “Chompoo Araya”, has joined the brand’s global roster of celebrity collaborators for Miu Miu Select – the curation-led concept that invites stylish personalities to put together their very own seasonal wardrobe from the brand’s latest collection.

Since its debut in May 2019, Miu Miu Select has spotlighted style tastemakers from around the world, from Gigi Hadid in Miami to Wonyoung in Seoul and Alexa Chung and Twice’s Momo in Tokyo.
Now, with Chompoo Araya taking the reins in Bangkok, the project continues its run as one of fashion’s most distinctive global wardrobes.
A long-time fan of the brand, Chompoo Araya has often been spotted in Miu Miu on and off duty, from toting the leather top-handle bag with her signature charms dangling off it, to sporting a full look to attend the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 show.
The 44-year-old also did a bag spill showcasing what she stuffed into her Ivy tote (the Wander in the same collection can fit just as much).

Taking place on July 30 at Miu Miu’s Central Chidlom boutique in Bangkok, the launch event featured Chompoo Araya debuting her edit in a dedicated section of the store.
The event drew a crowd of local stars, including Kao Supassra, Gun Atthaphan, Junei Plearnpichaya, Aheye Korranid and View Benyapa, all of whom gathered to celebrate the actress’s fashion moment in full Miu Miu energy.
To mark the occasion, each purchase came with hand-sewn tags autographed by Chompoo Araya herself and exclusive Miu Miu Select packaging.
What’s in Miu Miu Select by Chompoo Araya?
Think sporty prep with a Chompoo Araya twist: someone who is equally at home in a printed milkmaid dress or a leather motocross jacket worn over cow-printed pants. And honestly, that tracks.
As seen in the Miu Miu Select by Chompoo Araya collection: Patent heels, pilot frames and a glossy leather top-handle bag that means business.
The collection is filled with Miu Miu staples. Think: varsity-style argyle knits; sharply collared tops with asymmetric zips; a white slip dress that gives cottagecore (but has enough polish to be layered under a wool-zipped cardigan or worn solo with slingbacks); suede boat shoes (one is backless, the other buffed to a burnished finish); and performance-leaning Mary Janes.
