Get Your Hands On These One-Of-A-Kind Vintage Coach Bags In Singapore

Last Saturday, American leather goods house Coach opened a special exhibition at Takashimaya Level 1 Atrium to commemorate its 75th anniversary. One corner features a monogramming trunk (there'll be specialists on hand to share on how to care for your leather goods), while another showcases the brand's newly launched illustrated volume Coach: A Story Of New York Cool, which traces the growth of the brand through new and archival photography and celebrity inspirations over the years.

What stole the limelight, however, was the arresting display of vintage, one-of-a-kind bags that have been individually restored and refurbished in Coach's New York workshop. Dubbed the Coach Vintage capsule collection, these nine bags were sourced from all over the world (a process that took 18 months) and customised with details from Coach's Fall/Winter '16 collection. Each bag took 10 to 12 hours to assemble and are one-of-a-kind. And unlike typical exhibitions, feel free to "interact" with the pieces because they're also for sale (prices start from $1,190).
