Designed for warm-weather escapes, the latest edition of Dior’s annual Dioriviera capsule collection – Jonathan Anderson’s first – captures the essence of an enviable vacation wardrobe. This year, the collection made its debut at the Dior Gold House Bangkok, where a host of gorgeous Thai celebrities brought the laid-back yet polished pieces to life.
Embracing Mediterranean ease and playful pops of colour, the collection features captivating flora and fauna motifs across a range of silhouettes. The Dior Arabesque revisits an artwork by Christian Berard – a close friend of Monsieur Dior – translating its lush natural landscape into prints that run throughout the collection. Meanwhile, the iconic Toile de Jouy appears on breezy shirts, flowing dresses, and silk scarves, all perfectly suited for a sun-soaked getaway.
For those who favour a more understated, preppy aesthetic, the capsule offers a slew of sailor-inspired ready-to-wear. Breton stripes feature across sweater tops and polo shirts, while a clean-lined dress is elevated with a tasteful sailor collar detail. Elsewhere, one of Dior’s favourite motifs – the bow – adorns silk tops, cotton shirts, and sarongs rendered in vibrant hues, lending a soft, feminine touch to the collection.
