Jonathan Anderson sharpens his vision for Christian Dior with an elegant garden-inspired Fall Winter 2026 collection, as seen at Paris Fashion Week.

For Jonathan Anderson’s sophomore womenswear collection for Dior, the designer revisits Jardin des Tuileries – with the space serving both as a stage and starting point. If his first outing for the French maison introduced a radical view point of the new Dior, his Fall Winter 2026 collection serves as a clearer, and perhaps his most refined vision for the brand and the many different archetypes of the Dior woman just yet.

Before the show started, Anderson sat down for an interview with fashion podcaster, Bella Freud. She asked, “What is dressing up today?”. And presented over a suspended platform on a lily pond in the historical Parisian garden, the collection delivered his answer: it was poised and calm, yet still subverted with his eccentric touches that elevate the codes of modern dressing.

Here, our favourite moments from Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Fall Winter 2026 fashion show at Paris Fashion Week.

KEYWORD: FLORALS

Building upon his debut couture collection for the maison, florals are an overarching theme this season. Here, it materialises into embroidery, sublime clash of patterns, and substantial draping techniques. Anderson’s reverence for surrealism is ever so present, especially in the yellow two-set piece, which, ruffled on each hemline, reveals a shape that closely resembles that of calla lilies.

A LOUCHED, RELAXED TAKE ON THE BAR JACKET

This season, there is a gentler hand in reinterpreting the Bar jacket – a silhouette synonymous with Dior and its original founder. Anderson took it further in terms of ease and wearability. Take for example the opening look: a crinkled fabric that turned the Bar jacket into a cardigan-jacket with a peplum hemline. A similar version with longer hemline in lace followed later, granting the structure delicate and a sense of airiness.

FLOUNCE, FEATHERS, AND FLICKERS

In this new Dior collection, it’s all in the details – from finely embroidered sparkly trousers, to asymmetrical dresses with feather-lined hems, and layered ruffles underneath jackets added depth and a wink of drama.

A noteworthy mention: the new, refreshing takes on the brand’s iconic Junon dress, now taking shape as flouncy miniskirts and ready-to-wear trousers. A masterclass in Anderson’s eye to detail.

REGENCY CORE

Plenty of silhouettes are seemingly borrowed from the men’s wardrobe in the 19th century: relaxed coats with dramatic rippling effect goes all the way to the coattails, inner shirtings crumpled and given a looser fit, and blazers elongated into asymmetrical dresses. Each element generally flows along the lightness that carries throughout the whole collection, lending it a contemporary edge that doesn’t lean towards costume-like.

NEW NEW BAGS AND SHOES

The new-gen of classic Dior bags were on full display, updated in refreshing colour palettes and embroidery, along with newer silhouettes that are sure to haunt your social media feed: a frog-shaped clutch in green velvet and gold hardware, as well as peanut-shaped bags in sparkly finishes.

The shoes double down on the fun, too: heels take shape into water lilies and roses, with black polka dots speckled on white. Safe to say, Anderson is doing well in defending his position in the accessories field.
