Dior’s Rose des Vents Jewellery Collection Gets A Glow-Up For Its 10th Anniversary
A masterclass in staying young at heart
By Sarah Adriana,
What keeps a jewellery line feeling forever young? Dior may have found the formula with its Rose des Vents collection, which marks its 10th anniversary this year. First launched in 2015, the line has come to embody playful elegance — a medallion-led universe dreamt up by creative director Victoire de Castellane, who reimagined age-old symbols of luck and wanderlust into fine jewellery that’s equal parts chic and spirited.
This April, Dior commemorates a decade of Rose des Vents with 16 new creations that span rings, bracelets, necklaces, a brooch and an utterly romantic secret watch — all designed to capture the carefree charm that’s defined the line since day one.
Among the new additions to mark the 10th anniversary of Dior's Rose des Vents are these three rings.
From the very beginning, Rose des Vents has embodied a sense of youthful freedom — a wearable invitation to chart one’s own course. Inspired by the wind rose motif at Monsieur Dior’s childhood home in Granville, the original designs featured medallions adorned with either the compass motif or vibrant discs crafted from mother-of-pearl, onyx, lapis lazuli and other precious stones.
Over the years, the collection evolved, with reversible pieces that spin playfully between symbolic engravings and polished gems. It’s this element of surprise — a flick of the wrist, a hidden detail — that has cemented Rose des Vents as one of Dior’s most beloved fine jewellery signatures.
Motifs of celestial bodies punctuate pieces from the Rose des Vents Celeste line, a nod to Monsieur Christian Dior's penchant for the cosmos.
Ten years on, Dior continues to expand the Rose des Vents universe. The original compass motif from 2015 remains a central feature, now refreshed with new ring designs with overlapping circular discs and the debut of a hidden watch – a romantic and discreet pendant nestled on a gold necklace, like a secret meant just for the wearer.
For fans of astrology and the mystical, Dior’s Rose Celeste line is a dream. First introduced in 2018, it draws on Monsieur Dior’s lifelong fascination with the cosmos and the divine. The latest additions include a reversible necklace — sun on one side, moon on the other — and transformable earrings that can be worn three different ways, offering endless styling potential. A standout design is a necklace with an adjustable hook that fastens to any chain link, allowing it to be worn long, short, or even as a belt.
Transformable and versatile, this Rose des Vents Celeste necklace is a standout addition to the collection. It features a reversible design — sun on one side, moon on the other — offering endless styling possibilities.
Also making its mark is the Charms line, introduced in 2022 as a tribute to Monsieur Dior’s beloved gris-gris, or lucky charms. The 10th anniversary additions feature necklaces, bracelets and a pin brooch that artfully combine all the motifs, peppered with diamonds and stone details known only to the wearer upon closer inspection. This element of hidden detail adds an intimate and personal layer of preciousness.

Not forgetting the newest addition to the Rose des Vents family — Etoile des Vents, launched in 2024. This chapter reimagines the signature compass star motif as a glittering homage to the iconic Dior boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne. This year, the line expands with three new single earrings and a constellation-inspired necklace crafted in gold and diamonds — each piece embodying the sense of wonder and whimsy that defines the collection.
Guided by the stars, the Etoile des Vents necklace from the Rose des Vents collection traces a luminous path in pink gold and diamonds.
