Firdaus Rohani Gives Us Styling Tips On How To Pull Off Clashing Prints

Flight steward Firdaus Rohani, one of this year's Female Gorgeous People 2015: Best Dressed Edition finalists, shares his styling tips and tricks on mixing prints and textures.

Three words that describe your style

"Effervescent, bold, intriguing."

A styling trick that instantly switches up your look

"A blazer. I have a few in different cuts, prints, colours and textures. It’s just so easy to throw one on to add extra oomph to my look, even if it’s just a different kind of casual that I’m going for."

Style icon

"Francesco Cominelli, the late editor of Vogue Hommes International. He had the ability to mix prints and textures so effortlessly. He also had a knack for throwing pieces together and camouflaging the brands so much that you wonder if he got his clothes from a thrift store or a luxury label."

What you love about fashion

"My love for fashion started at a young age, when I realised that I could dress to express myself. It became a walking journal of my emotions. Plus, fashion to me is inclusive. Your social status does not necessarily equate to great fashion sense. Rather, it’s your personality that determines your style and interests, which means you can wear anything and still look amazing."
