Gentle Monster's is releasing its largest collection of optical frames next month. The move will cement the brand as a household name for some of the most progressive labels for spectacle designs beyond sunglasses.
As a nod to the notions of diversity and identity, the South Korean eyewear brand will be releasing a selection of 63 new spectacles designs in all types of experimental shapes spanning retro and sci-fi influences, from September 14 at its stores in Ion Orchard and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
As the brand continues to evolve, Gentle Monster taps on the spirit of individuality and inclusivity with its array of genderfluid eyewear designs that can be worn on anyone and everyone.
Gentle Monster expects to keep up the momentum with its array of optical selections, sharing that it aims to stock a total of 120 spectacle designs (both existing and new) by the end of 2021 in its stores. To give some perspective, the brand released an average of 14 spectacle designs each season in the last four years.
