Seen the Gentlewoman tote everywhere? The Bangkok-born label has finally brought its wardrobe of playful, everyday pieces to town.
Chances are you’ve spotted one of Gentlewoman’s easily recognisable totes making its rounds while out and about. They’ve become such a fixture around Singapore that there’s even an Instagram account dedicated to spotting them in the wild. Love it or hate it, the ubiquity of the Gentlewoman tote says one thing pretty clearly: the demand is there. Now, the Thai label has made things official with the opening of its first Singapore store at 313@somerset.

Founded in Bangkok in 2018 by former accountancy classmates, Raya Wannapinyo, Siripa Rueangwutthisakulchai and Jitpon Siriwattanamathangkul, the brand actually began as a small workwear project born from the simple frustration of not being able to find clothes they actually wanted to wear. Gentlewoman has since grown from a small independent Thai brand into one of Southeast Asia’s buzziest contemporary fashion names.

Now open at 313@somerset, Gentlewoman’s new Singapore store brings its range of clothing, bags and accessories to Singapore, so you can finally browse the brand’s offerings in person without having to make a trip to Bangkok. The new store has an entire section dedicated to its signature tote, with a whole range of colours, designs and variations to browse. Whether you prefer something classic or want to make a statement, there’s plenty to choose from.
There is also a line of jelly bags, tapping into the trend for translucent, playful accessories that have been popping up everywhere lately. Between the cult-favourite totes and these fun, candy-coloured alternatives, there are plenty of options for your next everyday carryall.
Clothing and special collaboration collections
The boutique also carries a mix of Gentlewoman’s clothing collections, spanning everyday staples and more statement-making pieces. Expect feminine silhouettes, clean tailoring, flowy fabrics and playful details, with styles that can take you from the classroom or the office to just about everywhere in between.
Keep a lookout for special collaborations, including the colourful My Little Pony x Gentlewoman: Derby Dreamhouse collection, which just launched in September with a whimsical dose of nostalgia to the mix.

The collection is basically their love letter to girlhood and nostalgia, drawing on the people, places and everyday favourites that end up shaping our personal style.
