14 High-Top Sneakers That Get Top Marks
Whether you're a hardcore sneakerhead or a follower of runway trends, the high-top style has serious game now.
By Margaux Levy,
If there is one footwear trend that unites Hedi Slimane and Maria Grazia Chiuri this season, it is their love for the high-top. For the former, the CT range of high-cut kicks let you emulate his brand of Left Bank rock 'n' roller flair. As for the latter, there is a sense of relaxed cool about the popular retro-inflected Walk'N'Dior sneakers.
In fact, Dior has introduced three new models for the aforementioned range for Cruise 2022. Christened the Walk'N'Dior Star, the style now comes with a more elongated profile and emblazoned with the 'Dior Etoile' star motifs as an ode to Monsieur Dior's lucky star.
The Walk'N'Dior Star sneakers are available in tone-on-tone embossed white leather, alongside leather and technical-fabric.
Even for serious sneakerheads, some of the most anticipated releases this year come with a high-top aesthetic. Cue Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 'Georgetown' and Union LA x Air Jordan 2 'Grey Fog' which we foresee making waves when they drop around April.
Meanwhile, we share 14 pairs of high-top sneakers to cop.
