I-dle's Minnie Shares Her Style Secret With Us Before Her Skechers Appearance at Bugis Junction
Neverlands, here's what Minnie has to share with us.
By Lucy Lauron, Germaine Khoo and Reta Lee,
I-dle's Minnie is in great spirits as she opens up to a small selected group of media at InterContinental Singapore for an interview sesh just before her public appearance at Skechers' newly revamped Bugis Junction store today.
When it comes to her style, Minnie says, "I just love to wear sneakers with jeans, like low-rise baggy jeans with a crop top to make my legs look longer and a cool belt. For my daily life, I like wearing sneakers because they’re comfortable and I can walk the whole day. I also do like the idea of having charms on my shoes." Minnie also opts for comfort, like most of us do: "I like to wear something stylish yet comfortable because I have to travel and practise a lot for performances."

While Minnie has been busying herself with her singing performances (she's performed at K-Star Spark in Bnagkok earlier in February this year and alongside her teammates and BamBam on 14 June in Malaysia), she has never forgotten her love for acting. "When I have time and the chance to do acting again, I would love to," she adds.
When it comes to her motivation and inspiration to perform, Minnie attributes that to her fans. She also reflects back on her biggest achievements so far: "During the last eight years of working with I-dle, I think one of the biggest goals was to have a world tour and since last year, we have had three world tours so I think that’s one of our biggest achievements."
We wish Minnie the best of luck!

If you're not a Neverland, but are still curious about one of K-Pop's favourite Thai idols, here are the basic facts to know:
When was Minnie's solo EP released?
Her EP Her dropped on January 21, 2025. Containing seven tracks, her pre-release single Blind Eyes Red and title track Her showed off her unique and dreamy voice.
Is Minnie Thai or Korean?
Minnie is Thai! She was born on October 23, 1997 (making her a Scorpio with a Libra-Scorpio cusp) in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to Thai and Korean, Minnie also speaks English, Japanese and Chinese.
Why did (G)I-dle change their name to I-dle?
Upon the release of the group's latest album, We Are, the group announced their rebrand: dropping the '(G)' from their name. Now going by I-dle, the group made their rebrand official on their seventh year anniversary on May 2, 2025. The reason? To symbolise their fresh start as a group following their contract renewal with Cube Entertainment, and their breakaway from gendered definitions to welcome a broader and more inclusive identity in terms of music and concepts. Along with the name change came a new symbol: the five-point asterisk.
What is Minnie's position in I-dle?
Minnie is the group's main vocalist alongside member Miyeon.
