French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has been putting us in the mood for a beach getaway ever since he staged his beach-ready Le Splash Spring 2022 collection in the Hawaiian island of Oahu in front of guests such as Blackpink's Jennie Kim.
He continues to chase the sun, sand and the sea with a capsule collection with Net-A-Porter that is now exclusively stocked on the latter's site. The 23-piece collection of hot girl summer staples include well-loved Jacquemus designs that have been rendered in new peppy colourways such as sugary pink, mint green and vanilla milkshake cream.
The coastal vibe of the Net-a-Porter x Jacquemus campaign pays tribute to the Sun & Sea art installation by Rugile Barzdziukaite, Vaiva Grainythe and Lina Lapelyte and the work of photographer Massimo Vitali.
Among these updated favourites are the Noue cropped linen-blend top with its plunging neckline and the artfully twisted hem, the Le Bob Gadjo bucket hat and the Pila cutout swimsuit made from recycled polyester — pieces that are primed for apres-pool style.
