Jennie’s New Balletcore Collection With Adidas Originals Is On Pointe
From ribbon-tied Superstars to wrap skirts and sheer layers, Blackpink star Jennie is putting her spin on Adidas Originals.
Korean pop star Jennie and Adidas have been working together for a while, but now it’s time for her to put her own stamp on the iconic three stripes.
Ever since becoming a global brand ambassador for Adidas back in 2018, the Blackpink star is stepping into her co-designer era with her first-ever Adidas Originals collaboration, landing in Singapore on September 1, 2026.
The collection, themed Functional Grace, takes cues from ballet and filters them through Jennie’s decidedly more futuristic lens. The collaboration spans footwear, apparel and accessories, with the pointe shoe-inspired Superstar joined by reworked trackwear, wrap skirts, knit layers and sheer pieces, finished with leg warmers and cut-out socks for a distinctly Jennie twist on balletcore.
Built around the idea of balancing ballet’s strength and discipline with its softer silhouettes, the collection takes things into a surreal, cosmic world for the campaign, while the clothes themselves are surprisingly easy to picture in your everyday wardrobe.
Adidas Originals x Jennie Superstar SQ Ballet shoes
The star of the collection is arguably the Superstar SQ Ballet, which takes the classic Adidas Superstar and sends it to ballet class.
Rather than simply adding a ribbon onto the iconic trainer and calling it a day, Jennie’s version has a squared-off toe and a more delicate silhouette inspired by pointe shoes. It also comes with removable laces, giving you a few ways to style it.

The rest of the collection follows the same idea of taking familiar Adidas codes and softening them up. Reworked track tops and track pants sit alongside wrap skirts, knit wrap cardigans, layering tees, sheer bodysuits, leggings and polar fleece half-zips.
The Adidas Originals by Jennie collection is available from September 1 at select Adidas stores, the Adidas app, online and at selected retailers in Singapore.
