The time has come for Lisa Manobal to be announced as Louis Vuitton's new house ambassador. The French fashion marquee made the announcement earlier this afternoon, ending months of industry speculation that the Thai-born Blackpink star would fill the role. This follows the breadcrumbs she has left: an appearance at the brand's Fall Winter 2024 runway show in Paris as a VIP on the front row, and numerous social media posts showcasing Louis Vuitton bags and outfits.
Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, Nicolas Ghesquiere, who celebrates his 10th anniversary at the brand on August 2, stated: "She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”
This year is significant for the 27-year-old, who launched her management company LLOUD Co and made her on-screen debut in the third season of The White Lotus. Before her role with Louis Vuitton, Manobal was the face of Celine, also owned by LVMH. She is currently the face of another LVMH brand, the Italian jewellery label Bulgari.
