All the Accessories You'd Want from the New Loewe and John Allen Tie Up

Loewe loves art. So much so that the company even has an indepedent foundation that champions young artists around the world. Incidentally, the brand's creative director JW Anderson is an arty guy at heart. One of his favourites is John Allen. So much so that for a second time, Loewe has roped in the 82-year-old English textile artist, known for his vibrant carpet designs and knits, to create a collection of accessories.

The premise of the designs are based on two of Allen's prints: 'Lost Dog' and 'Stonehenge' which features a hound and the iconic medieval stone structure respectively. The prints are plastered on almost everything, from beach towels in Spanish cotton, silk scarves and the T-Pouch bag. The craftsmanship factor is apparent too in the marquetry technique that is used to create some of the leather bags. This method of placing leather inlays to create the motifs of the prints to create a textured and three-dimensional effect for the prints. Prices unavailable.
