All The Essential Pieces From Loewe This Season
Here’s a look at all the Loewe Spring Summer 2026 bags, shoes, jackets and more that are currently on our radar.
By Noelle Loh,
Ellsworth Kelly’s 1989 painting Yellow Panel with Red Curve – a defining example of the late artist’s abstract, high-chroma work – sets the tone at Loewe this SS26 season: pared back yet bold in impact. We distil this debut collection by new creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, spotlighting key pieces that reflect the same mix of craft, colour and cool.

1. AMAZONA 180 BAG
This year marks Loewe’s 180th anniversary. To celebrate this, debut creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have taken the Amazona – one of the label’s most fabled bags that turned 50 last year – and given it a suitably contemporary ease. This latest version has only one handle instead of the usual two and its previously structured silhouette has been relaxed – all so that the bag can be worn unzipped to reveal a panel bearing another daring move from the boys: a refreshed logo.
2. SPEED SHIELD SUNGLASSES
Graphic, supersized shades have always been a thing at Loewe. Now the brand draws from the car racing world to create this hyperslick, wraparound design with a modernist edge – the temples are triangular.
3. GRIP SNEAKERS
Said to be McCollough’s and Hernandez’s favourite among all the footwear styles they’ve designed, these are an intellectual twist on bouldering shoes with an asymmetrical toe shape and lacing system. The uppers are in suede and calf leather with Loewe’s “L” monogram on the sides, while each sole is made of two pieces of moulded TPU so, yeah, they’re supposed to have grip.
4. FLAMENCO MILLEFEUILLE CLUTCH
Archival advertisements for a Loewe store in Madrid were updated in punchy colours then printed onto sheets of leather and inserted into the top of this beloved drawstring-style bag, giving it a quirky pop art makeover and trompe l’oeil effect.
5. BILBAO BUCKET BAG
A debut bag with a clean and sculptural trapeze shape that attests to Loewe’s leather know-how while paying homage to the artistic Spanish city it’s named after. Every one comes with a bell-shaped leather sheath that conceals a functional bottle opener – the brand’s cheeky way of toasting to a new chapter.
6. ANORAK SET
A “singular culture of making and materiality” drives Loewe, points out creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez in the press notes for the brand’s Spring Summer 2026 collection – and it doesn’t always have to do with leather. Every set here comprises three jackets that can be worn individually or layered, with each made of pure silk with a three-layer membrane so it doesn’t just look luxurious – it’s technically functional too.
7. BOMBER JACKET AND BEADED SKIRT
Two examples of when McCollough’s and Hernandez’s playful curiosity and exuberant energy meet Loewe’s craft heritage. The former is made from lightweight suede goatskin and sports voluminous sleeves for a slightly balloon-esque effect, while the latter is embellished with approximately 45,000 3D resin beads hand stitched into fringes – a process calling for about 700 man hours.
8. TWISTED MINAUDIERE
One of the most talked-about runway accessories from Loewe Spring Summer 2026 has been its otherworldly-looking clutches crafted from handblown glass. This clutch here is less precious, but equally a marvel to see and hold. Its organically shaped case is 3D printed, manually wrapped in leather, and supported by a metal frame that was originally flat then moulded to match its form precisely. And, of course, who can ignore that cute bug clasp?
