Longchamp Transforms Artist Caroline Helain’s Textured Landscapes Into Wearable Art For Winter 2026
Think sweeping horizons, layered leather and dreamy patchwork art across Longchamp’s newest handbags, knitwear and everyday accessories.
By Gabrielle Angela Anderson,
The fashion forecast is looking particularly scenic this season, and Longchamp definitely makes a convincing case for it. For Winter 2026, the house teams up with Belgian textile artist Caroline Helain, translating nine of her original landscapes across leather goods, ready-to-wear apparel and accessories.
It’s hardly the house’s first artistic collaboration. From Tracey Emin to Jeremy Scott, Longchamp has long invited contemporary artists to put their own spin on its designs. This time, Helain brings something particularly tactile to the mix.
Helain works primarily with fabric, cutting textiles freehand and piecing them together into layered compositions. Look closely and you’ll find scenes of dunes, strips of sky and distant cliffs emerging between blocks of colour. Her landscapes are less about capturing one fixed place and more about the feeling of moving through it.

The nine landscapes created by Caroline Helain for the collection come together on this orange silk scarf.
The Daylong bags are perhaps the clearest example. Designed as a polished travel companion for on-the-go city living, the Daylong range includes a mini bag and a larger weekender as part of this collaboration, both given Helain’s landscapes through layers of leather that are painstakingly stitched together. Rather than simply printing an image onto the surface, the artwork is reconstructed piece by piece, giving the bags an almost patchwork-like quality.
Helain’s signature patchwork landscape takes over Longchamp’s XL Travel bag in Mineral, turning the perfect travel companion into a canvas of its own.
Then comes the real scene-stealer: a sleeveless top made from calf leather, with boucle virgin wool forming a landscape of rolling dunes beneath an expanse of blue. The landscape doesn’t simply sit on the front either. It wraps around the body, creating the illusion of one continuous scene rather than a print that stops at the seams.
The collection’s standout piece: Caroline Helain’s sweeping landscape wraps around this sleeveless leather top, turning the silhouette into its own little panorama.
Elsewhere, her compositions make their way onto the pieces most likely to become everyday favourites. Silk scarves and cashmere squares carry scenes of nature in softer form, T-shirts get a motif at the pocket, and Le Pliage canvas totes come in a mineral palette of Olive (green), Thistle (navy blue), Caramel (brown) and Ballet (baby pink).

Helain’s landscapes give Longchamp’s familiar pieces a fresh point of view, bringing a little more scenery to the everyday. Consider this your sign to take the scenic route.
The Longchamp x Caroline Helain collection is now available in Singapore at selected Longchamp boutiques and the brand’s online store.
