Louis Vuitton Collaborates With BTS’ J-Hope For A New Pink Buttersoft Sneaker Launch
An exclusive sneaker collaboration is afoot: the LV x J-Hope Buttersoft Sneaker in pink, dropping this April 30, 2026.
If dropping a new album and going on a 79-show world tour weren’t enough, BTS’s J-Hope just launched an exclusive sneaker collaboration with Louis Vuitton and the house’s Menswear Creative Director, Pharell Williams.
The sneakers were first unveiled in December last year. After pre-launching them in South Korea in March, these exclusive pink LV Buttersoft Sneakers are finally going to be available worldwide on April 30, 2026.

Fun fact: this pair was originally meant to be a special custom pair for J-Hope’s wardrobe during his ‘Hope On The Stage’ World Tour in 2025. A special shoe for a one-of-kind dancer and performer means: creating a shoe with a brand new look and, most importantly, with high functional capabilities.
This 2000s-inspired classic shoe is reimaged in pink while also providing support and comfort, with springy layered rubber soles, and an ultra soft upper made of calf suede. After all, this shoe was originally made to be danced in by the member that BTS considers their ‘performance director.’

Why pink? To match his warm and buoyant personality. It even has an extra-special a Hobi (the fandom’s nickname for J-Hope) Easter Egg: a reference to his tagline, “I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m J-Hope.” The details don’t stop there: beneath the heel’s enchape detail are a secret set of squirrel and acorn charms.
This shoe is the culmination of J-Hope and Pharell William’s three-year partnership.
The shoe also calls back to the maison’s iconic house codes: a textile label derived from the Speedy P9 bag, leather enchapes echoing Louis Vuitton’s heritage in luggage and bags, and lather patches embossed with collaboration exclusive logomarks.
