Marimekko Opens Its Third Store In Singapore Featuring Its New Spring Summer 2026 Collection

It’s spring and you know what that means – florals, everywhere. As you would expect, Finnish design brand Marimekko is no exception. Following the release of its new Casetify collection – which features its signature poppies front and centre – Marimekko is bringing the same bold floral energy to the opening its third Singapore store, right in Jewel Changi Airport.
Designed to feel in sync with the brand’s headquarters in Helsinki, Marimekko’s new retail store is inspired by the playful spirit of summer. Think vibrant colours, immersive, large-scale fabric installations and expressive prints dotted all over its new space. Fabric, an essential element of Marimekko’s heritage, invigorates the store – with flowing curtains installed to give off a welcoming vibe. As usual, no Marimekko store is complete without its signature poppy flower, Unikko, which is featured in a new warm pink and orange colourway within the shop’s fitting rooms.

As if Jewel’s Rain Vortex wasn’t Instagrammable enough, Marimekko’s new Unikko installation has given the fountain a new whimsical edge. Located on Level 2 of Jewel Changi Airport, The Fountain of Joy features the brand’s iconic floral motif, and will be up till May 17, 2026.

Marimekko’s Spring Summer 2026 collection – now available in Singapore
If you were following last August’s Copenhagen Fashion Week, you would’ve probably gotten a glimpse of Marimekko’s vibrant Spring Summer 2026 collection. Well, here’s some good news: the brand’s latest collection is now available at Marimekko’s Jewel outpost.
At the heart of this collection is the brand’s new floral print Kukasta Kukkaan, designed by Finnish textile artist Erja Hirvi. While we might be familiar with the brand’s signature poppy print, Kukasta Kukkaan features blossoms instead. This new collection presents a fresh take on some of Marimekko’s beloved silhouettes. Expect breezy new summer dresses, tops and skirts in silk and cotton-linen blends with versatility in style and length – all in a vibrant summer palette of greens, blush pink and soft blue, and adorned with hand-painted blossoms.
The Spring Summer 2026 collection will also introduce new styles for the Knitted Bag series. A mix of seasonal prints such as Unikko, Lemmitty and Merirosvo will be featured across jacquard-woven everyday bags styles – such as tote, shoulder bag, crossbody, phone pocket and mini handbag – in the same vibrant tones as seen on the collection’s clothes. They are crafted from recycled materials and feature a ribbed texture, with an embroidered Marimekko logo on the front.
Apparel aside, this collection also features home accessories, in a bold colour palette of deep red and sky blue accented by bursts of orange and neon pink. Standout designs include Puutarhakutsut by Fujiwo Ishimoto, Keidas by Annika Rimala, and Maija Isola’s iconic Unikko in varying scales from the bold abstraction of Iso Unikko in deep red to the smaller Pikku Unikko in a combination of cerulean, cherry, and sand.
With the spirit of hosting and togetherness in mind, Marimekko’s Summer 2026 home collection showcases a slate of home goods that make for the perfect summer picnic set-up. A range of Marimekko patterns are featured on accessories like tablecloths, vases, glasses, dishes and placemats in a mix of vibrant colours like red, blue, beige and green.
