You’ve watched indie romantic Simone Rocha showcase her first ever standalone men’s show at the menswear trade fair Pitti Uomo last week, and now, Paris men’s Fashion Week is underway. Things of note this week include Michael Rider’s first solo men’s runway show for Celine (the brand is on fire lately!), as well as Jonathan Anderson’s third menswear collection for Dior.
There’s also red hot Japanese label Soshiotsuki, winner of last year’s LVMH Prize and current champion of the ‘80s slouchy look, who will be making his debut at Paris Fashion Week, but you know what else is hot? The blazing heatwave that’s got everyone panting and which has already forced major brands to reschedule their shows to start earlier in the day.
