The takeaway: If the collection felt dizzying in the array of characters it presented - from elegant mid-century socialite to what looked like '90s grunge babes - it was deliberate. "Every single morning, I decide if I’m going to be 15-years-old, or a lady near death," says Mrs Prada. On that note, the collection had something for everyone; a reflection that reality and people's lives are never one-dimensional.
For the "grown-ups", there were long, lithe coats paired with smart trousers and that made one think of '90s minimalist icon Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, as well as luncheon suits, slinky pencil skirts and pearl necklaces. Equally there were Peter Pan collared tops, neon leggings (very indie sleaze), uniform-esque scrubs, and fluorescent party skirts - clothes for life's many different stages and occasions.
The show's excellent casting too drove home the point of designing for pluralistic wardrobes: there were the usual model mainstays like Gigi Hadid, but there was also Interview magazine's fashion director Dara Allen (who is transgender), actresses Kristin Scott Thomas and Ángela Molina (both in their 60s), as well as Qin Huilan, a 70-year-old Chinese doctor and avid Miu Miu fan.
The looks we’re eyeing: The cute Mary Jane T-strap flats (looks 7-12); the killer multi-strapped boots (lokos 47, 49, 50 and 51); all the neon and pastel ensembles (looks 54 - 59) and the power ladies-who-lunch skirt suits (looks 21 and 24).
