Miu Miu SS26 is a study on ‘women’s work’ — here, Amoeba director Tan Siyou expands on the casa’s study on the relationship between work and femininity.
Toughened in leather or made sensuous with ruffles, lace and exposed sides, the apron, traditionally a garment of labour, emerges as a symbol of independence and agency at Miu Miu this season. F ZINE invites director Tan Siyou – known for her stylish films exploring girlhood and rebellion, including the award‑winning Amoeba, which opens in cinemas here on March 26 – to step behind the lens as a photographer for the first time to capture the collection’s maverick energy.
