The Moncler x Rick Owens Collaboration Is Finally Here

No one doubts that Moncler has some of today's best designers collaborating under its Genius program. But it was still somewhat of a surprise when the Italian outerwear specialist announced a tie-up with none other than fashion's most elemental shaman Rick Owens earlier this year.

We got our first glimpse of what Moncler x Rick Owens might look like with the latter adding his signature primordial touch to – of all things – a tour bus.

As it turns out, Owens confessed to taking advantage of the Moncler offer so that he could customise a tour bus. The reason? He and his wife Michele Lamy wanted to make a road trip to visit City – American artist Michael Heizer's monumental land art sculpture (it measures two kilometers in length) in the Nevada desert.

Fast forward to this month and the collection – a standalone unisex capsule – has just dropped at its Singapore flagship store as well as online.

True to Owens' signature monochromatic oeuvre, the collection is a Moncler distillation of the personal pieces most frequently worn by the designer and Lamy.

You'll want to act fast though – Owens' fervent fans are known to snap up the designer's pieces from head-to-toe. P.S. The tour bus is available to be bought via custom orders.
