Nine Artists Reimagine Valentino Garavani DeVain Bags Into Digital Artworks
Valentino presents a digital creative project for their DeVain bag in collaboration with artists across the globe.

If you thought Valentino’s DeVain bags were dreamy, their new campaign in collaboration with multidisciplinary artists is about to make them dreamier. The Italian maison brings on board nine international artists to interpret their soft clutches into nine digital images with unique visual narratives.

Separated into two parts, the first chapter reveals five works of the nine participating creatives. It opens with artist Paul Octavious’ work, imagining the bag inside a Renaissance painting by combining photography, illustration, and AI. The works of Thomas Albdorf and Albert Planella were also created with the help of the same technology, the former exploring the tension between reality and illusion, and the latter creating a poetic narrative between lucidity and dream.

Elsewhere, artist Enter The Void extends a surrealist vision, the bags floating along with fishes in an underwater desert and city. Rounding out the first half of the chapter, Tina Tona combines multimedia collage with digital animation to create an eclectic single moving image.
Together, these works dance around the ever-evolving dialogue of the human and the digital, with Valentino’s DeVain bag sitting in between fashion and art wonderlands.
The video and images by artists Enter The Void, Paul Octavious and Albert Planella were generated using AI. All featured imagery by Enter The Void was used with the informed consent of the models here portrayed and of all the talents involved.
