It's the season right before the world's largest sporting event, and some designers are clearly thinking bigger than usual. Take for instance Pharrell, who's now a year in as head of Louis Vuitton's menswear - he threw his latest extravaganza (designed to represent "the entire world") at the headquarters of none other than global body UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation).

In other news, there was only one major debut this men's fashion week season - Adrian Appiolaza at Moschino, who sent out a promising collection paying homage to its founder. And Dries Van Noten fans will want to keep a hanky at the ready as this will be the feted designer's final collection after a long and well-loved career since he started his eponymous label in 1986.
