Catch The First Prada Resort '18 Show Live

Many of us who follow fashion closely would know trying to see first looks of the brand's annual resort collection would normally involve a three-step process. Google for the men's Spring/Summer runway show, plough through the results, and search for the women's looks hidden in that said collection to find the Resort looks for women.

There's no need for that now that Miuccia Prada is staging a dedicated runway show for the Resort '18 collection at 8.30 pm, Singapore time on May 7. That decision follows how brands like Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Dior have been doing it for years. But unlike how these brands usually venture out of their home turf for their Resort shows (Los Angeles for Dior and Tokyo for Louis Vuitton this year), Prada is staying put in its home ground: Milan.

Reports state that the designer is hosting a luncheon for 250 guest at the Pasticceria Marchesi -- the same building that houses the Prada men’s store. Shopping after desserts, perhaps?
