Puma Collaborates With A Singaporean Artist For Its Coolest Collection Yet
Here's a new collection from Puma sneakerheads are sure to love.
By SOFIA KIM,
When it comes to sneaker collaborations, it's pretty safe to say that Puma has definitely constantly surpassed expectations, what with its slew of tie-ups this year with revered brands and designers such as Sophia Webster, Cara Delevingne and Daily Paper. So when the German sportswear giant revealed that it just teamed up with another collaborator (hint: he's a local artist) for a sick collection, we were sold. Another bonus: it will only be exclusive to Singapore.
Puma Singapore has tapped on the creatives of leading visual artist Jahan Loh, to present an exclusive Future Past collection pack for our city's leading sneaker boutique Limited Edt, with a design based on the concept of looking to the past for the future. What to expect: an exclusive chrome box packaging, complete with a customised pair of tee and pin on top of the shoes.
Drawing its influences from space exploration, the collection features two new designs known as the Clyde Future Past x LE x Jahan ($180) and the BOG Limitless FP x LE x Jahan ($290).
Clyde Future Past x LE x Jahan
While both silhouettes come in chromatic hues, each sneaker is very much different in terms of its design. The Clyde Future Past x LE x Jahan is part of the brand's rich streetstyle heritage and the suede family, which turns 50 next year. It also exudes a distinctive street vibe and features an iridescent treatment on its upper. It has also retained its signature white Puma form stripe emblazoned on the leather upper.
BOG Limitless FP x LE x Jahan
The BOG Limitless FP x LE x Jahan, on the other hand, comes with a sportier design, retaining its sock element, coupled with interchangeable laces.
The collection will be available exclusively at all Limited Edt stores and on www.limitededt.com from 8 December 2017.
