Now Open: Roger Vivier’s New Flagship Boutique With Limited-Edition Singapore-Exclusive Bags
This gorgeous flagship store at Orchard has French-inspired interiors that pay homage to the maison’s Parisian roots.
French luxury fashion label Roger Vivier has found itself a new home in Singapore: a gorgeous gilded flagship boutique at Orchard Road’s Takashimaya Shopping Centre. Oozing refined opulence, the space mimics the vibe of a luxe French apartment, mirroring the maison’s other recently unveiled flagship along Paris’ fashionable Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré street.
With soft shades of pink lending a subtle femininity throughout the almost palatial-looking space, the boutique features designer furnishing by Herve Van der Straeten, alongside fine finishing touches of velvet, lacquer, and suede. Mirrors come in geometric jewel shapes and ornate gold floral frames, while quirky framed art pieces and sculptural installations decorate the other walls.
Of course, plenty of space is dedicated to displaying Roger Vivier’s greatest treasures: Their heels, prided for their impeccable craftsmanship. These, along with the chic bags, are proudly laid out across multiple seamless inset shelves and stands, like works of art in a gallery.
Towards the back of the boutique is the Salle d’Argent room, a ‘secret’ nook specially for private VIP appointments and bespoke services. Inspired by Monsieur Vivier’s own studio in Grenelle, this corner of the store is exquisitely finished in real silver leaf – talk about quiet luxury.
Limited-edition Singapore-exclusive Roger Vivier handbags
In celebration of the store’s grand opening, Roger Vivier has launched an exclusive limited capsule collection of Piece Unique handbags in four designs, each an ode to the sunny city of Singapore: A mint green piece full of sequin florals referencing our Garden City status; A purple one featuring our national orchid; An embellished ivory number that’s essentially the Merlion in the form of a bag; and a striking crimson velvet one to match the red on our country’s flag.
All four mini flap bags come with a top handle created using a torchon beading technique, and each has its own unique floral motif buckle made of glinting crystals. See all the designs below.
