Small Bags Hit The Sweet Spot For Bagaholicboy

“Sales of small designer bags have shot up since the onset of the pandemic. Is it any surprise?
While we used to linger out for longer (work, gym, dinner, for example), WFH culture and Covid regulations have reduced our time out and in turn the need to bring along many things. These days, most women only require a bag to hold a spare mask, miniature bottle of sanitiser, card case or wallet, and lipstick.
This Cruise 2022, Louis Vuitton introduces a BB size of its plush, multi-wear Coussin – its latest signature bag that debuted in March. Measuring 21cm x 16cm x 7cm, it’s compact enough to be clutched yet comfortably secures all our new necessities while a leather shoulder strap (the one on the original, larger PM and MM styles are in jacquard) takes it into sophisticated day-to-night territory.
From conversations, there also seems to be this perception that a smaller bag is easier to keep sanitary as it has less surface area and can be carried close to the body. Whether or not you buy that, luxury houses have been stepping up with their offerings and some are so handy, they’ll remain relevant even when we can all roam freely again.” – BB
