This S/S '19 Trend Gives New Meaning To The Term "SPG"

The only type of “sarong party” we’d endorse: this season’s range of long, straight wrap-around skirts that befit a cool club as much as a long weekend in Bali. Balenciaga’s, for example, comes in lustrous, monochromatic silk; Dries van Noten’s features a statement mishmash of botanical prints, stripes and checks; while the elegant, sculptural lines on Yohji Yamamoto’s all-black rendition lend a couture quality. Pair with a top that’ll transition as easily from day to night, and you’ll have relaxed sophistication mastered (psst... the skirts come pre-wrapped with zips). It’s about time we rethink the term “SPG”.
