Supermodels Past And Present Walked The Off-White Show
Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and the Hadid sisters were among those who graced the Off-White catwalk in Virgil Abloh's honour.

Though Gigi, Bella, Kendall and Kaia are ruling the fashion runways now, it's tough to forget the heyday of O.G. supermodel supremes. And that's something Off-White reminded us of during its Fall/Winter 2022 presentation at Paris Fashion Week.

In Virgil Abloh's posthumous show for the brand, a posse of '90s supermodels gathered for the first time again since their appearance for the Spring/Summer 2018 Versace show to commemorate Gianni Versace's 20th death anniversary.

Among the old guards that turned up on the Off-White catwalk were Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Amber Valletta. They were joined by Abloh's favourite models including Adut Akech, the Hadid sisters, and Kendall Jenner – the two generations of models representing the late designer's ideals of evolution and change.

The runway collection, titled "Spaceship Earth: an Imaginary Experience", is an ethereal tribute to Abloh's work and the power of the imagination. Besides the ready-to-wear collection, there was also the debut of a 28-look high fashion (read: couture) line all designed, envisioned, and finalised by the late Virgil Abloh himself.
