Supreme Drops Collaboration With Y’s Yohji Yamamoto

American streetwear meets Japanese funk.

Supreme x Y’s Yohji Yamamoto
Supreme

Supreme just dropped yet another collaboration, this time with avant garde label, Y’s Yohji Yamamoto, and it’s a serious cop. The streetwear label’s irreverent energy fuses with the Japanese designer’s unconventional aesthetic in a series of clothing and accessories. Comprised of a Leather Jacket, Faux Fur WINDSTOPPER® Hooded Bomber Jacket, Denim Work Jacket, Sweater, S/S Shirt, Thermal, Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt, Denim Utility Pant, Jean, three T-Shirts, 6-Panel, Beanie, Silver Bracelet, Silver Wallet Chain and Hand Fan.

The collection centres on punk elements, echoing the Japanese designer’s anti-fashion philosophy. Skulls are prominently featured, printed and embroidered on T-shirts, hoodies, and a set of matching jackets and pants. Pop culture references are also seen in the TEKKEN™ nylon bomber and cozy knitwear. This rebellious and dark aesthetic is further highlighted in the campaign, which is fronted by Swedish rapper and member of Drain Gang, Bladee, as well as Supreme’s frequent collaborator, Taito Itateyama.

The collection is set to drop in Asia, including Singapore on September 13th on supreme.com.
