The Hollywood Stars Turned Up In Full Force For Gucci's Love Parade

It's one thing to see the stars sitting at the FROW and another when you see them strut on the runway as we witnessed during the recent Gucci Love Parade show.

Held on Los Angeles' iconic Hollywood Boulevard, the star-studded fashion affair was a reminder of Alessandro Michele's original dream of becoming a costume designer and his adoration of Hollywood's glamour and its many archetypal characters.

There was a tribute to the sirens of Old Hollywood, as seen in the evening gowns with their flowing marabou feathers, while the vampy dresses and lacy lingerie-inspired looks hinted at the tramps of Hollywood. And who could have missed the nod to the Western hero in the form of cowboy hats that anchored many a look?

Strutting the runway – or more specifically the pavement embedded with the five-pointed terrazzo stars – are some of Michele's Hollywood friends like actor Jared Leto, musician St Vincent and director Miranda July.
