The Row's Oversized Coats, Jacquemus' Shirt-Dress Hybrid & More Runway Looks We Love At Paris Fashion Week Day 1

From The Row's luxurious oversized coats to the deconstructed shirts at Jacquemus, here's what we loved at Paris Fashion Week Day 1.

#1: Oversized coats

Designers on Day 1 of Paris Fashion Week took a more subdued, toned-down approach to Spring dressing, with big, slouchy coats thrown on in careless ways a la The Row (its first show in Paris) and in neutral shades of beige, khaki green and white.

#2: The mash-ups

Deconstruction at its best: A shirt + slip dress at Jacquemus; a dress bearing shredded knit + crinkly plastic-looking fabric by new streetwear label Koche; and a collared shirt + pleated tube at Each x Other.

 #3: Waist-high slits

There is waist cleavage, and there is this: Waist-high thigh slits on dresses at Anthony Vaccarello that are sexy, confident and red carpet-worthy.
