Paint The Town Red With These Chic Tod's Accessories

With modish handbags and slip-on-and-go footwear that are spiked with a sporty edge and in vivid colours (bright red, classic green, sunflower yellow!), the accessories from Tod’s Spring Summer 2022 make us want to go out and about. Together with the luxury leather goods expert, FEMALE recreates an Italian sojourn right here at home.

The sporting world was the main inspiration for Tod’s this season and the results include some of the label’s chicest bags and shoes yet – playful and casually cool without losing the elegance and practicality synonymous with the house.

Masculine loafers, for example, come raised on heightened platform soles – a work-to-weekday style that would score with the fashion set. There’s also a fun new off-duty bag: the compact, hand-held Bow, which brings to mind a rugby ball with its unexpected oval shape and is studded with the brand’s iconic rubber pebbles across the base.

How else is Tod’s preserving its legacy among the next generation? Enter the T Timeless project that sees the brand’s T-shaped metal emblem livening up a diverse range of shoes and bags.

The latter category spans youthful, chain-strapped crossbody bags, ladylike top handles and a relaxed, rectangular shoulder bag – depending on how one adjusts its strap, it can look trendy or, well, timelessly sophisticated.

Ahead, we take a closer look at these Tod's Spring/Summer 2022 offerings.
