Italian luxury label Tod's embarks on a new chapter today as it showcases the first collection from newly minted Creative Director Walter Chiapponi  since Alessandra Facchinetti's departure in 2016. Having cut his teeth at various other luxury fashion powerhouses, the Milanese designer brings with him an extensive portfolio that covers both menswear and womenswear. The European Institute of Design alumnus' first collection is set to hit stores this fall.

Chiapponi's appointment follows a series of high-profile collaborations under its Factory project – a series of capsules with various designers such as Alber Elbaz and Mame Kurogouchi. Chiapponi, however, is expected to shake things up for good. Excited to see what he brings to the table? We are too. Watch this space.
