Uniqlo's newest SPRZ NY SUPERGEOMETRIC collection has just dropped, and this gargantuan collection - featuring 67 t-shirts, dresses, rompers and accessories including scarves, caps and tote bags - is inspired by NYC's famous Museum of Modern Art collection.
Inspired by the works of seven high-profile geometric artists, each t-shirt design is unique and presents a re-envisioned geometric shape in abstract art, while demonstrating the mastery of these artists over geometry's most basic elements - line, form and colour.
In celebration of the collection, two special installations done in collaboration with local artists will also be showcased at the Uniqlo global flagship store at Orchard Central. Free and open to public during store operating hours, the installations will include a geometric exhibition by artist Dawn Ng, and an interactive activity by Singapore-based multi-disciplinary design practice, Lekker.
