There's always been a certain magnetic allure to sea travel: the smell of salt air, wind in our hair, and sea spilling beyond the horizon.

JW Anderson's latest outing with Uniqlo plays on this appeal as the premise of the co-ed collection. “The sea has been integral to my life ever since I was a child," said its designer Jonathan Anderson who spent plenty of time as a child on the island of Ibiza where his family owned a house. "It inspired this collection, and I hope people enjoy incorporating this maritime styling in their wardrobes.”

JW Anderson pays homage to the rich heritage of Britain’s sailing and seaside culture with its latest designs for Uniqlo.
In true maritime fashion, seaside motifs like embroidered sailboats, sailor stripes, and coastal hues are aplenty throughout the lineup – which includes oversized shirts, a fisherman hat, and sundresses.

Selected pieces will be available at all Uniqlo outlets including the Orchard Central flagship store, the Ion Orchard as well as the brand's online store starting March 18.
