If you've been feeling the world is really crazy late, the Uniqlo U 2024 Spring/Summer collection is intended to be a soothing balm of sorts. First up, there's the earthy colour palette comprising of sage, celadon, mellow purples, khakis, creamy whites, and sorrel browns; nothing too shocking or jaring to the senses, and allows for effortless coordination with other pieces from the collection, or more realistically, with your existing wardrobe.

Most of the styles in this collection were designed to be gender-less, so feel free to mix things up.

Fans of this collection - it's spearheaded by French designer Christophe Lemaire - will know that he takes a nuanced approach to design; things don't change much from season to season. Small details may be tweaked to further improve things but the silhouette is typically loose, unrestrictive and carefully considered for the wearer.

Newer styles include this utility vest, which allow (some) wears to go bag-free.

If anything, the freshest things from this collection are the outerwear, which boast boxy silhouettes and can be worn by any gender, and the utility vests - handy for slotting in small accessories of any kind.

The collection hits Uniqlo's Ion Orchard and Orchard Central stores and website March 8 - our picks below.
