Founded by Judith Milgrom, the younger sister of Sandro founder Evelyne Chetrite, the French brand is known for its quality leather jackets and feminine apparel. This is its first store in the region, and the 1,596 sq-ft wide space houses women's ready-to-wear and accessories. Head there to shop pieces from the Fall Winter collection comprising oversized capes, fringed boots, lace dresses and more. #B2-109 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

The Elizabeth & James capsule collection sees the return of the Olsen twins' luxe ostrich feather embellished knit in three colours (red, grey and white). Why the e-tailer brought it back: because Vice-President of Global Buying Sarah Rutson "noticed an overwhelming reaction from fashion influencers, press and customers" every time she wore the piece out. US$711 (S$983) each, available now on www.net-a-porter.com

We've shared about how the socially conscious homegrown label's pants are comfortable and great for travel. This month, the brand is launching the Then&There collection, which showcases prints by four Asian designers. Singapore's representative, Yah Leng Yu of design firm Foreign Policy Design, created a print modelled after the pretty tiles seen in many a coffeeshop here (it's on the yellow pants above). There are a total of six colourways on four types of all-natural fabric (linen, silk and twill) and scarves in the exact same prints to complement the pants. $179-$279, available at Kapok (National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road) and online
