Who says wearing a suit has to be stuffy? As the latest Fall 2017 shows demonstrate, the androgynous workwear uniform has been undergoing a revival. At Mulberry, there were skirt suits with oversized shoulder pads and checks. Jeremy Scott rendered one in a metallic hue, complete with clashing leopard and floral prints, while Victoria Beckham and La Perla churned out sexy, figure-hugging variations, by pairing it with a completely sheer top and sticking sequins all over respectively.

Elsewhere, brands like 3.1 Phillip Lim and Oscar De La Renta gave the pantsuit a refreshing spin, infusing it with bold colours - a cobalt blue, a bubblegum pink and even a baby pink.

Blazers that double up as show-stoppers are an easy way to work the trend into your wardrobes. Brunello Cucinelli's striped number gives a mannish appeal, while Burberry's dusky pink velvet option lends a romantic appeal. Or opt for colourful iterations with blazers in youthful, energetic hues.
