Hermes' Holiday Collection Is Giving Cosy
The French maison's holiday collection makes us wish for a snow-filled Christmas.

It's always a joy to peruse Hermes' festive collections, where you can expect to encounter exquisitely crafted objects with a touch of whimsy, including fashion accessories, toys, as well as more home-oriented items, such as their popular tableware.
Speaking of which, get a glimpse of the Hermes' new Saut tableware range (pictured above) in the holiday collection, which features the irresistible drawings of French artist Jochen Gerner that are a nod to Saut Hermes (the maison's annual equestrian competition).
Beauty fiends aren't left out either; clock the delightful Colourful wreath of Nail Enamel launch - a box shaped after a wreath that contains 24 shades of Hermes Beauty's Les Mains nail polish to suit every mood and occasion. Only 500 of these have been made, so we'd act fast.

The latest addition to Hermes' Twilly d’Hermes fragrance family (aka the most playful and youthful line in its stable) is the Tutti Twilly d'Hermes eau de parfum, a warm and sensual perfume that 's anchored by lychee, the hero ingredient, as well as ginger blossom and musk.
Hermes scarves tend to be rich with visual storytelling - this particular tells the story of Helios, the Greek god most associated with the sun, who would embark on a daily journey into the skies in his golden chariot that's harnessed by four white steeds.

The house recently created a new role - a creative director of fashion accessories who oversees four of its existing ateliers: gloves, belts, hats and fashion jewellery. Design guru Clemande Burgevin Blachman is that person and she's since put a distinctive touch to Hermes' accessories, making them extra-whimsical while still retaining the brand's air of refinement. Here, the Medor bag sports leather-sheathed studs on its rim, which add a fun, tactile experience.

There's been a recent movement towards small, delicate watches over the past year and Hermes' Medor is one of the most petite at 15mm. Since the '30s, the Medor pyramid stud has been a distinctive feature of Hermes belts. This iconic design element was later incorporated into the Medor watch collection - the Medor Joaillerie mini model features quartz movement and comes in either rose or white gold, with the textured bracelet seamlessly blending pyramid stud and herringbone motifs.
