With the house of Gucci shifting its Spring/Summer '19 show to Paris, Milan was undoubtedly void of the brand's typical fashion hijinks and theatrical showcase that bookmark the start of fashion week here. But as the saying goes, the show must go on.
The designers who call the city their home turf continued with an energetic and youthful outing as seen at brands like Prada, Versace and Fendi, while labels like Marni and Jil Sander continued to hold the fort as the city's de facto intellectual houses.
