If you've recently seen some cool but weird trends, chances are they have something to do with Demna Gvasalia of Vetements. Case in point: the sock-meets-shoe trend which the man introduced in the Vetements Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The look has since caught on with not just the street style pack, but also high-end brands, who have each created their own spin on the look. We think its popularity may be due to the shoes' oddly cool hybrid look. But on the style front, it also creates an illusion of a slimmer ankle. What's not to like?
