Craving More Diamonds On Your Coco Crush? Chanel Has You Covered
After all, it’s a milestone year for Chanel’s beloved quilted fine jewellery collection.
By Imran Jalal,
Fun fact: 2025 marks a decade since Chanel launched its Coco Crush collection, paying homage to the iconic matelasse quilted motif that’s practically synonymous with the house. It was a stroke of genius at the time – taking the classic quilting found on the blankets of Coco Chanel's boo Etienne Balsan’s horses, and the jackets of stable lads, and transforming it into a timeless, contemporary design element.
And it seems the formula worked, as Chanel updates the range nearly every year (our favourites include the mini rings and the discreet pendant design) . The beauty of Coco Crush lies in how the craftsmen meticulously handle the precise incisions, expertly recreating the quilted weave while preserving the delicate lines of the pieces, which are beautifully defined by their arched contours. Thanks to Coco Crush, Chanel also developed its proprietary shade of gold, beige gold – a modern take on yellow gold with a more subtle, muted tone.

So, what's new for this milestone moment in the Coco Crush journey? This month, the maison introduces a few exciting firsts to the collection. For the first time ever, a coloured gemstone makes its debut in the form of red rubies. After all, as Coco Chanel famously said, “Red is the colour of life; I love red.” (And that’s likely why red was also chosen to represent the youthful N°1 de Chanel skincare range.)
A single drop of ruby now graces a C-shaped pendant or sparkles at the centre of an 'O' on a bracelet. When the letters C and O are worn together, they spell out, who else, but "C.O.C.O." – a subtle nod to the legend herself.
The new pave setting introduced on rings in the Coco Crush 2025 collection features a diagonal quilted weave, filling the incisions of the ring bands (top) and bracelets.
Coco Crush also introduces a new pave setting, with diamonds lining the diagonal quilted weave and filling the incisions of the ring bands and bracelets. The result? Ribbons of diamonds swirling around the bands in a captivating display of sparkle. Elsewhere, pops of diamonds continue to dazzle across hoop earrings, single earrings, and mini bracelets, all lavishly adorned with ice.
Whether you're looking to amp up your stacking game or prefer to let these pieces shine on their own, they’re a perfect reminder of why we still have a crush on Coco Crush. Scroll down to discover the designs you'll definitely want to add to your collection.
