Chanel’s Latest High Jewellery Collection Pays Homage To Gabrielle Chanel’s Most Beloved Symbols
An 85-piece collection inspired by four of Chanel’s most quintessential icons, including the camellia, star, sun and lion.
2026 is proving to be a monumental year for Chanel’s all-encompassing vision of luxury. Following their recent Bleu De Chanel L’exclusif campaign starring Jacob Elordi, and new additions of their highly coveted J12 watches, Chanel once again stuns us, this time with their latest high jewellery collection, Signes & Symboles – an 85-piece collection heavily inspired by the creative impulses of Gabrielle Chanel herself.
For Mademoiselle Chanel, the act of creation was one of unadulterated freedom. By drawing from the semiotics found in her intimate inner world, alongside the memories and encounters of her travels and discoveries, these intangible inspirations became deeply embodied as recurring motifs throughout her life’s work.
Now, her legacy is beautifully manifested in the Signes & Symboles collection, which accents the House’s most iconic emblems: the Camellia, the Star, the Sun and the Lion.
Anchored by four precious gemstones – sapphire, ruby, emerald and diamond – the collection juxtaposes opulent silhouettes with sleek geometric symmetry, bringing the chic and rebellious Coco Chanel spirit to life in the most magnificent manner.
The collection’s centerpiece, the majestic Imprime Lion necklace, perfectly encapsulates its overarching ethos. It’s a cascading, vertical ‘waterfall’ of brilliant- and emerald-cut diamonds set on intricate pink and white gold threads, dotted with recurring camellia, star and sun motifs. At its centre, a 20.66 carat octagonal-cut sapphire casts a velvety blue glow over a sculptural lion’s head paved entirely in diamonds.
The Signes & Symbols collection is divided into four distinct chapters: Les Imprimes (The Prints), Le Lion Emblematique (The Emblematic Lion), Les Bijoux Talismans (The Talisman Jewellery) and Les Symboles (The Symbols).
