Clash De Cartier Now Exists In The Form Of A Bag
This new envelope-style bag takes reference from the signature stud detail of a Cartier jewellery line

Fashion takes reference from the wildest variety of sources – but for Cartier, its latest inspiration comes from within. As with its previous Trinity bag collection, which creatively reimagines Cartier’s Trinity rings into shoulder swag and card holders, the French luxury brand once again reinterprets its own jewellery for a brand new bag launch.

This time, the muse is Clash de Cartier – a range of stackable fine jewellery that’s recognisable by its signature stud with pointed ends. The Clash de Cartier stud is now translated to the hardware of the envelope-style bag, in the form of turn-lock clasps at its sides that easily allow the wearer to switch up its silhouette. Leave them open for a looser and slouchier shape on casual days, or fasten them for a more structured look – this multi-way quality also aptly mirrors the versatility of the jewellery line.

Made in Cartier’s workshops in Florence, Italy, using premium natural grain leather, the bag is currently available in three colourways of black, caramel, and burgundy, all of which will develop a refined patina over time.
