Amidst the grand opening of a new four-storey flagship boutique in Osaka and a Hollywood-inspired Cruise 2027 collection, the House of Dior is also going big with its latest high jewellery collection – and it’s a whole multi-part journey. Chapter One of Diorissima, as jewellery Artistic Director Victoire de Castellane calls it, begins the story with dreamscapes inspired by three realms of the natural world: lush gardens, deep seas, and the glittering cosmos.
Recently unveiled at the waterfront Palazzo del Casino on the idyllic island of Venice Lido on May 26, 2026, the Diorissima collection spanning across over 100 pieces taps into the whimsical and imaginative through maximalist silhouettes, vivid gemstones, and daring contrasts – each telling a tale of their own. From floral fields and ripe fruit, to teeming ocean life and celestial wonders, the necklaces, arm candy, brooches, in this high jewellery collection bring elements of nature to life in a fantastical manner.
Craft-wise, a special ‘doublet’ technique, where stones were layered atop each other, was used to create an iridescent gradient effect – one that’s made especially prominent when the jewels encounter movement under light. This is further complemented with a high-shine chromatic lacquer that brings forth the best hues of each treasure.
