For almost a decade, image maker Kate Young has been the architect behind some of the most memorable jewellery choices spotted on Hollywood A-listers such as Margot Robbie and Selena Gomez.

Indeed, the stylist-to-the-stars, who is known for her brand of effortless glamour, has topped The Hollywood Reporter's influential "Power Stylists" list three times and understands how jewellery choices can make or break an outfit. Take for instance the 88.16-carat diamond Bulgari necklace Gomez wore to this year's Cannes Film Festival; ditto the 200-carat diamond choker from the same jeweller the actress donned for the SAG Awards in February.

Young is now bringing her method of styling jewellery to your daily wardrobe rotation. The New York-based stylist has collaborated with London jewellery designer Monica Vinader to create a 13-piece jewellery collection that has been described as red carpet-ready and for everyday layering.

The designs, which are out on shelves now, are crafted in 100 per cent recycled 18K gold vermeil – a sustainable practice Vinader has adopted since 2020, in an attempt to reduce CO2 emissions – and decorated with vibrant smooth cabochons and faceted cuts stones of black onyx, green onyx or lemon quartz. The result is an array of sculptural, graphic and minimalist pieces that include cocktail rings and tennis bracelets – evoking the bold styles from the '70s designed by the likes of Elsa Peretti, David Webb, et al.

The collection is said to be "born from a love of design, modernity and craftsmanship", with Young and Vinader working together to source gemstones from India and Brazil that provide a modern allure.

“Kate has a way of making a woman look and feel confident through an irresistible balance of style and personality,” says Vinader who started her eponymous label in 2007. “We paired our sustainable craftsmanship with Kate’s red carpet aesthetic to create something beautiful that women will love to wear.”
