But if the latest launches by the tech giant are anything to go by then it surely knows the power of music (and we're not talking about those rad speaker sunglasses the brand collaborated with Gentle Monster). Enter the latest range of wearable gadgets like the Huawei FreeBuds3 Bluetooth earphones and the Huawei Watch GT 2.

Housed in a minimalist round case that comes in either glossy black or white, these wireless earphones ($238) hold the record as the industry's first open-fit design earphones with an active noise cancellation function. That high sonic quality you get is said to rival studio acoustics – thanks to a bass tube engineered into each earpiece to deliver a super bass and punchier sound. Then there is the ease of usage: Toggle between playing or switching your music and activating and deactivating the active noise cancellation simply by double tapping on the earphones.

The FreeBuds 3 are compatible with the new-gen and sleek GT 2 smartwatch which is available in 46mm and 42mm sizes with eight different case and strap designs. The watch holds the reputation as Huawei's first smartwatch design with a 3D curved glass screen. What that means is that functions like the music player, the heart rate monitor, and various dial designs are presented in a wider and more seamless display.
